panthère de cartier. a truly wild animal more than a mere symbol for cartier. it is a timeless icon that is both predatory and elegant. restrained yet always ready to pounce. roaming freely with emerald eyes, onyx muzzle and a diamond-set coat. women wear the panther, for its independent spirit. because it gives them the means to assert their freedom. the panthère is an icon. an object of desire and fascination, everything about her exudes defiance, power and freedom. she is charged with a magnetism that reveals one's strength of character. in 2005, cartier designed a panther ring with a powerful design: a construction of graphic lines for a feline worn on the finger in self-affirmation (1).
